• Desak Putera Cottages
  • Stayed here for 7 nights. Desak Putera Cottages is an ideal base for exploring the area. Room clean and tidy, large deep bath with shower. TV with English speaking films, air con and fridge in room. Large comfy bed. In room 202 with views of the forest. Downside was one night we ate dinner in the restaurant due to bad weather. My chicken was either not stored or cooked properly as I spent the next 24 hours being ill. Apart from that all good. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Would recommend this hotel.

  • Ubud Bungalow
  • We enjoyed our stay at Ubud Bungalow. The staff was wonderful and let us check in early. We originally booked a fan room but chose to upgrade to a better room. We stayed in one of the older rooms with A/C. We enjoyed the cleanliness and the old style balinese doors. We found very few mosquitos and could keep our door open for fresh air. I would ask to view the rooms they have and decide what fits your style.

  • Sea Love Bungalows
  • We didn’t stay at the Sea Love Bungalows but went there for breakfast quite frequently. Especially the omelette is great and the coffee as well. Every cup, every glass comes with a flower as decoration. Very nice!. Great bungalows, super fun atmosphere, great drinks and cool owners. Also, If i would be responsible for Michelin stars i would give one to the cook. Really. Best thai food ever. Highly recommended place!

  • Bale Bali Inn
  • This place is amazing. Great villas built in a Balinese traditional villiage. The owners are so very nice and nothing is too much trouble. Bale Bali Inn rooms are immaculate. Pool is beautiful. Great AC and hot water. The owner gave me traditional Balinese clothing to wear so I could partake in a ceremony at the local temple. I can't fault Bale Bali at all. I will definitely be staying here again on my next trip. Suksma Bale Bali.
